Weekly, billed monthly. Thirty minutes prices out at $60 an hour-equivalent, which is why the half-hour slot is the one the building wants to fill. The full hour is here for the students who need the depth.
Guitar, bass, piano, drums, voice and more, taught in the Studio room by working musicians. Group classes are $35 a student for an hour, three to six students.
Book a standing slot at LaunchpadLaunchpad Music Academy runs the lessons: the roster, the standing slots, the monthly billing and the teacher app all live there. This is the same link the sign on the door points at.
How the week works
Lessons run Monday to Thursday, 9am to 7pm. During the school year the daytime slots go to adults, college students and homeschoolers; everything after 3:30 fills first. In summer the whole day opens to school-age students.
No lessons Friday or Saturday. Teachers gig on weekends, so keeping those clear stops the cancellations.
Where the money goes
The teacher takes half: $15 of a half-hour, $25 of an hour. There is one lesson room in the building today, fourteen room-hours a week at peak, which is why the rehearsal rooms are converting to daytime lessons one at a time.
